As described in the Fitness Nutrition Plan in Step 1, healthy nutrition as well as changing to good eating habits by ditching most of the bad ones, it is possible to lose a lot of weight in body fat. In my case, I?ve lost 70 pounds by doing the steps I am offering here. Yet, I don?t think I?ve could have lost all this weight just by changing my diet plan or eating habits to the better. I had to start exercise and gain muscle mass to activate a metabolism ? thought lost.

Sticking to a well structured fitness plan makes it easy, actually enjoyable. You do not need to be a member of a gym or own fancy equipment, although a gym membership would allow you access to a variety of fitness equipment that can be useful.

Either way, I will provide you with two workout plans. Each includes a set of exercises you can do at home as follows or at the gym.

At Home Fitness Exercise Plan

Day 1 Monday: Cardiovascular Exercise

Day 2 Tuesday: Strength training circuit

You will do each exercise one time without resting in between, then rest for 90 seconds and start again so a circuit would look like this:

Keep pushing in between exercises, even if it is difficult at first; and soon you?ll notice the improvements to your physique and cardiovascular health.

Day 3 Wednesday: Cardiovascular exercise

Day 4 Thursday: Strength training circuit

Same rules apply as Tuesday, no rest in between exercises until the end.

Day 5 Friday- Cardiovascular
Same as Day 1 Monday.

Saturday and Sunday are optional days you can either rest or choose one of the above days to repeat. Any recreational exercise that you might be doing such as gardening/pick up sports games/ swimming/ etc are great as well.

Another vertebrate species reported extinct from the Hawaiian Islands

ScienceDaily (Mar. 31, 2012) ? A species of lizard is now extinct from the Hawaiian Islands, making it the latest native vertebrate species to become extirpated from this tropical archipelago.

The copper striped blue-tailed skink (Emoia impar) -- a sleek lizard with smooth, polished scales and a long, sky-blue tail -- was last confirmed in the Na'Pali coast of Kauai in the 1960s. But repeated field surveys on Kauai, Oahu, Maui and Hawai'i islands from 1988 to 2008 have yielded no sightings or specimens.

"No other landscape in these United States has been more impacted by extinction events and species invasions in historic times than the Hawaiian Islands, with as yet unknown long-term cascading consequences to the ecosystem," said U.S. Geological Survey director Marcia McNutt. "Today, we close the book on one more animal that is unlikely to ever be re-established in this fragile island home."

"This skink was once common throughout the Hawaiian Islands, and in fact the species can still be found on many other island groups in the tropical Pacific," says Robert Fisher, a biologist with the USGS Western Ecological Research Center. "That's what makes this extinction so intriguing: if an otherwise common animal can be completely extirpated from one island ecosystem but not others, then what does that tell us?"

Fisher and colleague Ivan Ineich of the Mus?um national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris announced their findings on E. impar this month in the international conservation journal "Oryx," published by Fauna and Flora International.

Small animals like this skink are prone to what Fisher and Ineich call "cryptic extinction" -- when a species is easily confused with similar species that their extinction can go unnoticed for decades.

"The extinction of native Hawaiian bird species is well documented, partly because their presence and sounds had been so distinctive to humans," says Ineich, who is also a researcher with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). "But without regular field surveys, we tend to overlook the disappearances of smaller, secretive species, along with the causes of their extinction."

While the exact causes of the skink's Hawaiian extinction is unclear, Fisher and Ineich note that island extinctions around the world often share similar factors, such as the loss of habitat due to uncontrolled human development. Another is competition or predation from invasive species accidentally or intentionally introduced through human migration and activity.

"There's some evidence that an invasive ant was preying on these skinks," Fisher says. "That's a new factor we'll need to examine as we look out for other at-risk species in the Pacific islands."

Pretty much what you'd expect, but always some entertainment after midnight. The coffee was okay but the people watching was second to none. One time, I nearly had a problem with some pissed up arse who stumbled in one night and decided that he wanted a pop at me for 'looking at him'. I look at everybody. It's what I do. A 6' tall transvestite friend of mine pushed him out before I could say 'eh?' Cost me a round of coffees, mind. Gas, grass or ass - ain't nobody rides for free. I miss all that sometimes. Goodshaw Boy - when we go to That London, pitching our latest sit-com* then I'll take you in there! I'll show you something that'll make you change your mind... . *Working Title is Holland's Hills. It's about two brothers called John and Phil Hill (geddit?) who work for Holland's Pies in Baxenden - but they are very different characters. There are various ensemble characters including a hippy stoner chippy owner, a mysanthropic pub landlord, and a 70 year old Haslingden hill farmer who bobsleighs down Cribden. Then, one day, the lads are given the opportunity to take over their own factory after Holland's closes due to the VAT increase on pies. Hilarity ensues. . ?Managing risk is not a ?one size fits all? concept, since each organisation?s risk appetite differs, and ensuring that a risk management solution is tailored to the individual needs of the organisation is vital.?
The reality is that risk, while it is part of business, can be detrimental if it is not managed correctly. Risk management software is a useful tool as it assists with automating and creating ?work flow? for procedures associated with risks and risk events. It also removes the risk of human error when it comes ensuring that processes are followed accordingly.
However, software alone is not sufficient to ensure risk is managed effectively. Once software has been installed, it is vital for risks to be identified and defined at various levels throughout the organisation, in order to create a risk framework.

Mylan, Teva launch generic versions of Seroquel

Syrian forces take eastern city from rebels

BEIRUT (AP) ? Syrian soldiers backed by tanks seized the eastern city of Deir el-Zour from rebels on Tuesday, the latest opposition stronghold to fall to an offensive by the better equipped Syrian military.

Activist Osama Mansour said government troops and armored cars entered the city about 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the Iraqi border from four sides, sparking short gunbattles with fighters from the Free Syrian Army.

Mansour, reached by telephone in Deir el-Zour, said the rebels quit fighting and took shelter in homes and apartments, fearing that protracted clashes would destroy the city.

Taking back rebel-held cities in the past weeks, government troops have often heavily shelled neighborhoods before sending in troops, killing civilians and damaging buildings.

"They knew they could not hold control of the neighborhoods, so they decided to stop fighting, knowing that the regime would bring in heavy weapons and kill many civilians," Mansour said.

The rebels also lacked guns and ammunition, he said.

Rami Abdul-Rahman of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which relies on an activist network in Syria, said the rebels faced little resistance when they took the city a few days ago. But over the past three days, regime forces attacked some of their hideouts in the Omal neighborhood, killing more than 25 fighters. Mansour said 15 rebel were killed in recent days.

On Tuesday, government forces rolled into the rest of the neighborhoods.

No one was killed in Tuesday's clashes, both activists said.

Activist groups reported heavy shelling in the central city of Homs Tuesday, as well as shelling and gunfire elsewhere in the province.

The Observatory said 31 civilians were killed across Syria, 21 of them in Homs. Another group, the Local Coordination Committees, put the day's death toll at 42, 20 of them in Homs.

The uprising against Assad started one year ago. His security forces quickly cracked down on dissent, attacking protesters with tanks, snipers and pro-regime thugs.

The conflict has grown more militarized as many in the opposition have taken up arms to protect their towns and attack regime forces.

But the loose-knit Free Syrian Army is overwhelmingly outgunned by Assad's forces and has proven unable to control territory.

Assad has justified the crackdown by saying terrorists and foreign extremists are driving the revolt.

The U.N. says more than 8,000 people have been killed, many of them unarmed protesters.

The Syrian government has barred most media from working in the country, and activist claims could not be independently verified.

Also Tuesday, Human Rights Watch accused some in Syria's armed opposition of serious abuses, including kidnapping and torturing security forces.

In a letter to the opposition Syrian National Council, the group called on opposition leader to condemn all abuses but said many of those responsible are not under a clear command structure.

SNC leaders did not respond to requests for comment.

The Assad regime has faced mounting international criticism, but diplomacy has failed to stop the bloodshed.

The U.S., Europe and many Asian countries have called on Assad to step down, but Russia and China have protected him from censure by the U.N. Security Council.

Joint U.N.-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan has been trying to broker a cease-fire, but apparently made little progress during recent meetings with Assad in Damascus.

Russia said Tuesday it is ready to support a U.N. resolution endorsing Kofi Annan's plan to end the crisis ? a sign of impatience with Russia's closest Arab ally.

But Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the resolution shouldn't turn into an ultimatum to the Syrian government, setting the stage for tough bargaining over the document at the Security Council.

Annan met with Arab League chief Nabil Elaraby in Paris Tuesday to discuss steps to achieve a cease-fire and ways to monitor its implementation.
